Leon Dumont

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Leon Dumont is the Construction Manager of Kabod Development Group. He has extensive experience in the property development and construction industry. Leon is an excellent communicator, negotiator, planner, and multi-tasker. He is very well-versed in all aspects of the value chain of property development and construction management. He has experience in residential, commercial, civil, and light industrial construction; and also in the mining industry. In his role as ex-Regional Contracts Manager (Western Cape) for Balwin Properties he has completed more than 13 projects, delivering more than 12 000 apartments and 5 000 residential homes with various utilities, clubhouses, and other lifestyle centre buildings with a combined value of approximately R4billion.

At Kabod, Leon handles all operational and construction aspects of our development projects, including engaging and liaising with municipal councils and other local authorities; managing all construction deliverables including project feasibility, budgeting, value and cost engineering; project programme planning and tracking; contractual tender processes and appointment of principal contractors; appointment of and negotiation with subcontractors; and liaising with services providers on active development projects.
